I left mine in the incubator didn't take any chances and still only got one chick, I will wait a few days for the other four eggs just incase of a miracle

How freaking adorable!!! Have you had any more luck? I had a shrink wrap that died and another that i was able get its face cleared off and got the membrane wetted down but he is not breathing right so im not sir if its gonna make it

Thank you I think it is pretty cute too! No change this morning on the remaining four eggs I am afraid this is it. I may have to add a stuffed toy to the brooder it cries all the time and stops when I put my hand in to touch it, it really is breaking my heart.
I hope your little one makes it they are so delicate and there is only so much we can do to help them.

Well he didnt make it, never could even stand. Hoping for better luck with this next batch, lockdown this morning!

I have 7 more buff silkies, all live, so far anyway!

2 buff orpington chicks hatched but only one lived. Its SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO CUTE! 2 more to hatch. I'm using a hen named EggRoll. One of the 2 remaining eggs is a buff orpington/rhodeislandred mix.

How did we all do with the hatches I have 13 from the first hatch 6 1/2 weeks old and only one from the second hatch that is 1 1/2 weeks it cried for 3 days but has settled down and will sit in my hand. I feel bad that it is an only child mine are all Silkies this year.
