Hatch in progress!!

I just got home from work a little while ago and I have 3 babies so far. These 3 all hatched form my own eggs that I put in the bator with the others just as a test to see how fertile they were...I guess this confirms their fertility!

No more babies yet. I moved the 3 into the brooder...boy, I forget how tiny they are when first hatched!

2 more have hatched....this the slowest hatch yet!

off to run some errands so i quit staring at the bator!

I have been having quail hatch for three days..I have 24 so far..with 10-12 more possible..I got up at 2:30 this morning to check..had one..checked again at 5:30..had seven..they are so different than chicks

still only 6 have hatched.....nothing has hatched since this morning and 5 of this 6 are from my own birds. Hopefully more will make it out.

I got up this morning and heard chirping from the bator but saw no new chicks....I found the egg chirping and helped the chick out. It was one of my eggs so still have only 1 of the others hatch. I will wait another day or 2 just in case but don't have my hopes up for more.

nothing more at this point. Tomorrow is day 20 so I think I will wait until Sat. morning and then call it quits.
