Ok i am doing a little bit of a change with my hatching this time...
I always hatch my eggs at temps 99.5 and i have gotten good hatches from it but not a 100% hatch yet.. the closes i have gotten to 100% was with Sam Jumbo coturnix eggs when 13 hatch out of 15 eggs
So this time with the 4 extra silkie eggs i got from Tori there in the hatcher on day 19 now but this time i up the temp to 100 to see what will happen and if all 4 eggs will hatch... Humidity has been steady since day 18 at 71%
All 4 eggs were wiggling and rocking all day yesterday but they haven't move at all this morning so i am sitting back and watching and taking notes and seeing what will happen...
I write down EVERYTHING when i am incubating and hatching.. with my first 2 hatches i went through a whole Composition book and now with this hatch i have and had going on i am already half way through my new Composition book Because every day starting from AM i write down temps humidity the time/date how the eggs are looking and the temp in the room the incubators are in and candling and so forth...
This way if something go's wrong or something new comes up i can go back and read my notes and go from there i can't tell you how helpful that it..lol
