I've tried paper towels, but they seem to slip on that just as much as the newspaper.

Hope all the coturnix hatch... they are so adorable!! How's your little Ray Charles?

Another pheasant chick just hatch and about 4 or 5 more bobwhites and looks like 3 or 4 more coturnix chicks

And Tori looks like so far 11 or 12 button chicks are out and dry most of them are the black chocolate color but i have about 2 or 3 that are a like a rusty yellow

witch means there gonna be gray or silver?
 
****UPDATE****

There are so many babies running around here it's to cute...lol

i still have eggs pipping and zipping.. right now i have a coturnix egg and a bobwhite egg zipping i have 4 pheasant chicks so far that are out looks like all the bobwhites have hatch but 4 eggs and one is zipping right now and i have a few more button eggs left on forgot to mention an button chick just hatch as well

i just took the last set of eggs you sent me off the turners... this time though i laid them on the rack to hatch ..and all 4 are wiggling and rocking

Oh only 4 made it to the hatcher and they were

ok it's 2 of elvis eggs and 2 blue bearded eggs

I'll be putting them in my other brooder later today because this one is apparently to small and if i kept them in this one then add there water jar and food tray there wouldn't be enough room for them to run around so to the bigger brooder they go!

WOO HOO!!!! Congrats on a terrific hatch!!!!!

I still have just the 6 and #6 is still scooting, although the toes on one foot have uncurled so I'm not giving up hope just yet!!!

Thats good i know your little baby will pull through... the 2 chicks of mine that couldn't walk..since i put the towel in the brooder they are now walking!

Well everyone my quail and pheasant hatch is done!

the last chicks hatch they were 4 coturnix chicks and a bobwhite chick.. the few remaining eggs that were left all were bad and smelly
