Hello, is it too late for me to join the fun? I set 10 eggs in my ECO 20 last night. I have 8 silkie eggs and 2 dominiques.

The Frizzles are my 'youngest' eggs, only in since the 23rd so not surprising the veining is hard to detect this early.

I'll attempt to photograph some sizzles tonight. They are very active and easy to see into.

Hello all

My first incubating thread eva! Put 7..well six of my own GFF Black Copper Marans eggs in the bator on Friday night, stuck a 7th in on Sunday morning. Trying the dry incubation method...we'll see how it turns out. Using my Hovabator Genesis but not sure if I'll switch to the LG for lockdown...worked okay last time. Looking to make me a new rooster. Love the pics of the candled eggs. Won't candle until Saturday night I think. Trying to be good about not opening the bator.

WOO HOOO!!

It's day 8 so I decided to candle my welsummer eggs!! Wen't to my parents house to borrow their old slide projector and it works PERFECT for dark eggs!! The first egg I put up there I thought was a dud then I saw a little black spot, and then the black spot moved!

i got so excited i called my wife, who now says i have to wait on her to candle the rest, so when she gets home we will candle all of them then I'll take pictures and get on here to tell you guys how many are alive out of my dozen! This is way cool i've never been able to see inside my dark eggs before so I'm so happy i found something that works!!!
