Hatch On Dates: Oct-nov? Dont Forget About This Post!!!

i want to candle so bad at 1159 pm ends the 3rd day of incubation i still have at least 2 to 4 more days before i can even try to see anything i am ready for the 21st. mt temp want to go up and down so i am having to watch it. on the thermometer on top of the eggs that came with my hovabator reads 100 while my digital that is laying down and not standing up so i can read it easier is reading 97.5 i have had great hatches when the 2 read these temps but which one should i actually go by

Not sure I use a wiggler and go by it even though I have 4 thermometers in there lol

what is a wiggler

Do a search for it on here but quickly it tells you the internal temp of the eggs

Good luck! I'm really curious how well they work. I did some research on them and just can't make up my mind to buy or not.

i heard they work great, i cant wait to test it, ganna have to buy a humidity thermostat to go with it. im ganna use my LG as a hatcher. Hope it all goes well, it will be nice not having to check the temp every hour. This one keeps a constant temp.

I have a reptipro, and it works very well, just doesn't hold enough eggs for me. If I had it to do over I would have gotten a used cabinet Bator sooner. :)

DAY 14!!

I am hopeless

yesterday I told myself I wouldn't candle until the 6th. I lasted one day! Candled 2 just before and the Silver Spangled Hamburg egg is going great guns!!! Super wrapped, developing wonderfully and wiggling heaps, and the Australorp/Silkie that was put in 6 days after that I was very dubious about as the egg quality isn't that good has veins and is filling half the egg from what i can see through the brown shell, so I am once again confident that the 32 left in there have a good chance. I am also teaching myself (very slowly!) that I dont need to panic every time the temp goes to 101.5, know its not ideal but it only stays there for a few seconds, and the more I try to adjust it the more problems I cause. And the average temp is 99.5-100 and its never been over 102 so I need to sit on my hands and see what happens
