The little giant with a wafer thermostat added is cheap and reliable. Now that I have an LG without the wafer I see why others have so much trouble with them

I'm ordering another wafer to go in the new 'bator.
 
A bit relieved. I candled again today and prayed to see some development after the misshap of the 3 year old leaving the lid off the incubator. There seems to be more development. They are due on the 15th and its already pretty crowded looking in there. Very pleased. Hopefully I at least get a few of these babies to hatch. I can hatch ducks and geese all day. Chickens seems to be giving me fits. Out of the first batch of eggs sat I have hatch one runt who died 2 weeks later. This has to be a better hatch.
 
Any more babies anyone???
I had a dream last night that mine started hatching - 5 days early! Do you think I am a little impatient about waiting for them to hatch

Congrats to all of those with new fluffy butts, I predict there will be many new arrivals over the next week or two

Are we all having weird dreams waiting for our eggs to hatch? I dreamed I got a weird shaped egg out of the coop, and when I looked at it closely it looked like a human skull. I woke up REALLY creeped out, was afraid of my chickens that whole day. My locked down eggs are wiggling a bit!

Same here just 2 more days and it seems like forever!
