Wasn't someone hatching Brabanters? I'm excited to see how it goes with them, I want to order some for my next hatch before it gets too cold.

Brabanters eggs arnt going so well, two started to smell bad, tossd them, other two arnt showing progress. i dnt think they were fresh eggs when given to me. im going to order some eggs from this breed online. im going to look for sellers. i really want this breed of chicken

Well I know for sure at least one of these guys is still alive cause I have my first pip!!!

Just a little piece of broken shell one one of the eggs!! Hope the rest do the same soon!!!

i talked to my ag adviser and he told me to look in the bator and if the egg has to cracks in it to take it out and candle it. soo i looked and no cracks so i candled it. the egg does have a chick nin it, the chicks moving, but not noise or anything coming from it. so i put it back and put more water in the bator cuz i saw it was low. so im thinking the chicks ganna hatch tonight or tomorrow if it hatches at all.

Egg number five now has a good hole with a beak sticking out! This is the egg that slipped out of my hand when candling at day 12 and had a crack I had to fix with Elmer's Glue, looks like that glue did the trick!
