Hatch On Dates: Oct-nov? Dont Forget About This Post!!!

Oh this pip and no zip thing is KILLING my neck. I need to find something else to keep my mind off of it. Making dinner---yea that's the ticket. No eggs tonight though (would make me feel weird haha).

Congrats to all those who have brand new babies

I have one egg who is doing some random moving, it will be still for ages and then all of a sudden give a big heave ho and rock, then go still again. I think this is the best time to occupy myself, thank god the trimmer is coming to trim my 3 TB's hooves. That will at least distract me for a bit . . .

Day 21 starts at 10:30 tonight for me and I just had 1 light Sussex hatch, another one is zipping and the third has nothing yet, but all 3 were wigglng when they went into lockdown.

Great news! Keep us posted with your last chick.

Homeschool mom to a great son, 14 GL Cochin Bantams, 5EE's, 1 stray, 1 Old English Wheaton Bantam, 7peacocks, 2 dogs.

Update, still only the one chick when I got up this morning, 4 still only pips, no zipping, is this normal? I'm starting to worry about the others, there are 6 that haven't even pipped yet!?!?

I wouldn't worry too much. I think they are gaining their strength to zip. Just keep an eye on them. I can't wait till mine start to hatch!!

Wish I could keep an eye on them, I'm at work now, but my hubby is at home taking good care of them, everyone keeps saying once I is out, the rest usually follow pretty quick behind, our first hatched at 8:30 last night and nothing since. Keeping fingers crossed!
