I'm going to log on and watch with you! That last egg finally quit chirping and moving, I did an eggtopsy and it had a crossed and flattened beak, with no horn on the tip to break through the shell. Poor baby never had a chance to even try to hatch.

I got a silkie sittin on a egg when it starts hatchin will the silkie move o will the little chick not be able to breath and die some1 plzz help

They will hatch under her. They will be fine.

Ty and i got another question I'm sorry for so many but this is first time if i put a egg under her and then put some like 5 days later when the first 1 hatches will she abondend all the other eggs and ty again for all the help. I couldn't do it without u guys

If I am not correct someone please correct me. But if you put more under her 5 days later, she will leave the nest. Your best thing to do is as the first ones start hatching take them away until they all hatch and then at night put the little ones back under her. She should take care of them all. Hopefully I am telling you correctly.

About to turn my eggs for the last time. Then its on to lockdown. Really hoping I get some fuzzies. I only have one complaint with the maran eggs. It makes the waiting so much more difficult when the egg is too dark to get a good view. Still excited but anxious too.

My blue egg hatched, and the chick is drying. Can't get a good pic thru the window, will post one tomorrow. Hopefully there will be another chick by then and lots of pips!

I candled my eggs one last time. Looks that all 10 are still alive. Some of them aren't filling the egg like the others are. The air cell is good sized.. I just hope they grow in size in the next few days, which I think they will but now I am worried....
