hopfully i get at least a few on friday. there are 6 eggs due then, should have been more but 3 were early quitters. and then hofully 3 on sunday. out of 41 eggs 9 left. thos LG bators are horrible at maintaing humidity and temp.

We have 6 wellsummer babies in the brooder I had to help 2 hatch that were not zipping and just trying to get out of one hole (silly babies) my only concern is tat the newest one has green poop stuck to her bottom and I think it's blocking her up, I might try to get a wet q tip and try to remove it other than that all is well not sure if the other 4 will pip this is day 23, it's weird because they were all alive at the start of lockdown, also I am a firm believer in having them hatch pointy side down opposed to on their side the ones sitting up piped and zipped much faster and without complications!!! Good luck to everyone and remember with the LG if you have to remove a chick or do something very quick during lockdown GO THREW THE WINDOW don't open it up I had to do this several times and humidity never dropped! I had fun with this hatch along and will be waiting for everyones pictures

ya its my first time hatching and prob my fault y its failed hatches, prob shouldnt have bought eggs untill i knew what i was doing. hopfully my new bator works better.

I'm going on Lockdown tonight!!! Yipee!!!
Candled last night and tossed the clears... and two that were quitters.
down from my original 45 or so to a tiny 17 eggs left in there...
the shipped ones did not fare well, and one wierd thing is that two that cracked but didn't break are going well! I repaired with candle wax and it worked!
the others scrambled... ugh.
anyway, my own hens eggs did great, so have some of those to add in...
of the 34 or 36 shipped ones only 7 made lock down... no bueno.
I have four cochins left, one serama, one (and one questionable) Black Copper Marans, and one Americauna and one Barnie.
the rest of the 11 plus 3 for three days from now, all from my mixed hens... from the green layers, and the pink and brown layers.
