4am, 6 chicks total and 2 pips (one pretty active, one I'm worried about.) I have a box full of peepers lol!Will take pics in the AM after some shut eye.

Of my four eggs, two are in the process of pipping. No hole
in the shell yet, but a buckled spot. It's day 20 so I would say that they
are spot on. Hopeful that the other two will get busy soon.
I can't tell if any are peeping yet, because there are already
chicks in the room from last month and the incubator
heater fan seems to be quite loud. I figure all the current brooder
chick noise will encourage the chicks in the eggs to hatch.
We are supposed to be away all day at the fair, but it is raining,
so maybe I'll have to stay home and watch the chicks hatch!

We did the same thing, our first hatched soooo much earlier than any of the others and he was panting, I read they could dehydrate so we took him out, it onlt took like 3 seconds, our humididty didn't drop at all and the others that had pipped have since hatched. It's really your call, if you think they are ok in there or not.

UPDATE: 5 chicks in the brooder, 1 we had to help get out of it's shell is still in the bator and I am worried about her, she made it through the night but looks very weak and alot less movement than any of the others had, I pray she'll be ok!!!

I still have 4 eggs with no pips, could they still pip or did they die?

Hope they all make it! I go into lockdown tonight.. I am hoping all mine make it! I am just sitting here watchin my live feed and everyone is asking me what am I watching.. When I tell them I get the weirdest look.. I can't wait! The wait is killing me! lol Congrats to all with new little babies!

8 chicks and 2 pips waiting!!!! Its funny, I have Naked Neck easter egger frizzle chicks, I ordered because they are weird. Well OF COURSE I have to have a REAL weirdo in the bunch---He's normal! Well for now anyway LOL
