OMG I so know what you mean, it took ours 38 hours for them all to hatch and that 38 hours felt like eternity!!!

It's so worth the wait when your babies get here, can't wait to see pics!!

yep it will definitively be worth the wait but i don't know if they piped or not cause they under a hen is it ok to pick her up every once awhile and check or is that not good

im going to be gone for a few day. just got a job out of town by the bay area, soo ill be there till friday. eggs due to hatch while im gone. trying something new this time. started them in the new bator and moving the to th LG for hatching. ill see how it goes. hopfully i come home to some babies

How exciting seeing all these babies hatching! I'm loving all the pictures.

Tomorrow is lockdown in our house and I'm so nervous. I have been doing the dry incubation and using egg cartons to turn. After my first hatch last month and the two chicks that made it to lockdown died, I'm going crazy worrying about the four eggs that are fertilized and growing with this hatch. One egg still looks like it has a blood ring around 12 day candling mark. So when I candle before lock down, I may have to toss it. Or should I leave it in?

I know my humidity was way to high with the first hatch and one of the two chicks zipped at day 19. Poor things yolk sack was not absorbed and it was growing week. I think I shrink-wrapped my other hatching chick because it zipped through only half of the membrane and when it reached the bottom, the membrane was not opened. Sad hatch. But I'm hoping this hatch goes better. FINGERS CROSSED!

It shouldn't hurt to look every once in a while, she should get up on her own some too, to use bathroom and stuff, I know it's hard to sit there and stare at her all day though, lol.

I've candled the eggs under both of my broodies. Neither has had an issue with it. I just pet them and tell them they are good girls. They trust me since I've always brought them special treats.

i hope my eggs r ok. my sister who has no idea how to work incubators or has no sense about eggs turned my incubators temp up because it was to low and turned it to high, it spiked to 109 degrees, i hope my eggs are ok. she called asking for help. we got it back to normal.

I have a questions my brother candled my egg tonight that's on day 20 and it had speckles down by the air cell dose that mean its bean pecking just hasent broke the shell he knows ur not surpposed to check after lockdown but the eggs are all diffrent dates so he didn't now but plzz help cause these spekles weren't there on day 18
