Im excited cuz i just got the tracking number from Nabiki since her room mate was nice enough to sell me 6 button eggs I'm drooling over the one Nabiki hatched oh also this was gonna be a surprise when i got the eggs and posted a thread but this incubator should be here tomorrow. so its all timing out

You mean the pricks just changed their name from Hatch to Empire?

That is exactly what I mean. I dont know how to post screen shots here but they were not happy when I insinuated that they were the same company. They lied and said tht empire was based out of canada but they are registered in Jackman maine and only opened an account with the BBB on Oct 22. They lie so much they cant keep up with there lies. They forgot that i had asked the name of the CSR in an earlier email and lied about having an ally at hatch poultry. They lied again when they told me they had a farm in freedom in several emails and then in the newest one said they only have registered agents. I told them I would be driving to the listed addresses and taking photos as well as contacting any authorities I need to. They said they'd get me money back asap but at this point idc and am going to persue it anyway.

I went to the Hatch website...it's messed up. It redirected me to the Empire site.

Interesting i hope i get my eggs either way though since i did lose some money on this

Okay...I emailed them yesterday afternoon which is when they said the eggs would be shipped and just said "hey just want to confirm that you were shipping today so I can get my incubator ready." They responded within 10 min saying yes we're packing your shipment right now. I'll send you a tracking number as soon as I get it entered into the system. I got that within half an hour. I'm going to contact the post office just to make sure they hold it so I can pick up at the post office.

I'll respond with picks once I pick it up. I emailed 3 different people with Hatch and this is a different person but it's email so it could be anyone. I agree the web site looks to be copied an paste which was my very first thought. I will say if this is still them they have stepped it up. Quail Empire seems to be different with their descriptions but they are using the same pic's some with Hatch's logo. Anyone notice their "Broodie Quail" line. Says its a line of coturnix breed to brood their own chicks.

I'll post pics as soon as I get the package. Funny thing is i really don't know what their sending

Does the broody line cost more? I’m thinking it’s just a way to squeeze out a few extra bucks, then if they don’t go broody they tell you your setup or feed or something is wrong.

However, about half my birds behave broody, but I’ve never let them keep the eggs because they seem terrible at it. Even my males are super involved. Since all of my adults are from the same source, maybe it really is something they can pass to each other, however I think it’s more likely to be a rare occurrence that others copy when they see one do it, but without one to demonstrate the hatched chicks won’t have someone to show them, and the behavior will not pass on.

I say everyone who contacted them to get there eggs keeps everyone on this thread posted o.o so we are all warned also its 651am tuesday they said this week last thursday or so but what day this week cuz i gave them a time frame since they asked and i asked if they could shoot for around the 5th 6th or 7th lets see what happens since no confirmation or tracking number has been given yet. but its only tuesday the 3rd they still have a good chance if there legit or not behind.

From what i read its sorta like raised chicks can some times catch the instinct to raise there own too but its like a hit or miss from everything i been reading on byc. But I'm suspicious on them selling broody line of hens.
