Hatch success!!

My sweet scovy momma killed all her hatchlings earlier this year. She's a good brooder and super attentive to the eggs but killed everyone of the babies as they hatched. I reluctantly let her sit on another clutch and today she came out from under the shed with 8 babies (of 9 eggs). Super happy and she seems to be doing it right. Brought them out and took them to the food and water pool! Pics to come soon!!!

Oh, thank goodness! And, my condolences for last year's clutch...I know first time mamas can sometimes do strange things, but scovies are supposed to be really good brooders!

I can't wait to see photos of the babies! Hint, hint.
