I'm am just happy they are growing at all. I was so afraid to buy shipped eggs and this is the first time I took the plunge. Your birds were just so gorgeous, I couldn't resist anymore.

I hope I have just as good of luck on my eggs that are comming this week. I ordered some lemon blue standard cochin eggs, and some White silkie eggs from people right here at byc for my Birthday! The will both be shipped on Monday. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Ok, bringing this back up because I'm due on Friday and today have what may have been an accident or someone who pipped too early. The membrane is slightly dry and I'm keeping a water damp paper towel around it to try to help. AND my broodies are still sitting. So we're hoping to get this one, and the other 5 to hatch healthy and on time.

I just put some of her buffs in last friday.

Ohhhhh... feel free to post your hatch here... I knew a few other people were hatching her eggs. One here in town got the BBS and I can't wait to see hers, I hope I can go see them after they hatch. I think she's due on Friday this week too, Blueoval. Such GORGEOUS silkies! What colors did you get?

Mine are white and buff from her. I had 2 white candle clear, but the other six are developing.

Im going to candle them this thursday evening. That will be day 6.

oooooooh, how exciting!!! Her buff are my favorite. She just didn't have many when I could finally afford them so I mixed in white because I have one gorgeous white thats the standard (my buff have a few black feathers

so they have to go)

Im hoping for a great hatch.

I ordered a new incubator, hovabator genisis 1588, and hopefully it ships out the end of next week or this monday like they said it would. I have a bunch of buff eggs from my girls to put in my other incubator this friday.

I couldnt take it anymore!

I candled the eggs about 5 min ago. Out of 6 buffs, 5 are developing nicely. Nobody has broken air sacs, or cracks. The 6th egg looks to have a blood ring, but im not sure, so I will leave it till saturday.

I cant wait till the hatch.
