(can't see very well through the window). I'm pretty sure the ones hatched are fairly new as they are still wet, my temps are down and the humidity is higher then normal.
I'm thrilled though!
This was only my sencond time incubating and my first time w/shipped eggs! The first time I was excited
- this time I listened to the seasoned hatchers
so I'm sitting on my hands and I WILL NOT OPEN THE INCUBATOR!!!
Still waiting here too. This hatch may be another failure with the odd looking air spaces. keeping a very close eye on the bator and the eggs. Temp at 100.9, humidity at 65%. IF I get just 1 egg to hatch out of the 15 that are in there I will count this as a complete success.
I just helped my second pipper out of the egg. I know that others would have strongly discouraged this, but he was the last egg in the bator (so I wasn't worried about losing humidity) and he had pipped nearly 36 hours earlier! I was worried that the membrane was going to get stiff or hard and he would become shrink wrapped. He seems to be doing OK, but just hatched chicks look so sickly regardless!!!
