Hatchaholics Unite!

Oh, and I let my white scovy hen go groovy. Shes on 12, hahaha hahaha. Um, broody. Weird autocorrect.
Lol, here we go with groovy birds again!

My Silkie is the grooviest, but she has no eggs right now. She started laying at 5 months, then quit after a week. I have heard that pullets can go on-and-off when they start laying. Now, at 6 months, she sits all day on non-existent eggs. She doesn't seem in distress, so I don't think she's egg-bound, but I have to take her out of the empty nest box to make sure she eats and drinks.

I think I need to get her a peafowl egg to hatch. Chicken math.

If you don't have too many flying friends, ID PUT HER ON SOMETHING

That just sounded too nice, so I ordered eggs from Papa's Poultry: Lemon Cuckoo Orpington and Buff Laced Polish. Yes, I am a hatchaholic. I only ordered one of each egg, though, so that shouldn't add too many more flying friends to the flock.

Hopefully, this will make our sweet Silkie happy.
