I've never seen a Sebright nor an egg from one. Could you please perhaps post pics of Sebright bird and an egg? (I know it won't tempt me in the slightest way--not)
Well, just because I think they are about the prettiest little chickens I've ever seen...

Here is a Golden Sebright Roo

and a Golden Sebright Hen:

...and here you can see a pretty little Silver Sebright chick and hen and small eggs:

They are really kept for their beauty and personality, as pets. Since their eggs are so small, and they are excellent at flying, they are not on most people's must-hatch list. I just think they are dazzling little bantams.

Holy hatching! Those are GORGEOUS! Definitely going on my bucket list of breeds... oh... wait.., I'm supposed to NOT be contemplating MORE chickens...

Ok, you enablers! I couldn't stop thinking about those cute chicks (yes, the black and white ones are adorable @theceltichorse ), and I filled up my shopping cart again and will have eggs on the way: Jubilee and Splash Orpingtons, Easter Eggers and a mystery egg.

At least I'm not trying to hatch emus!

This is such a dangerous thread for all of us. I agree, Sebrights are amazing eye candy. What else in on your bucket list?

EVERYTHING...

Copper Marans. Ameraucana (true) for their blue eggs. Silkies. Ayam Cemani (oh my- so amazing that they are true black, through and through). Icelandic.

Oh, the list is LONG...

I got a French Black Copper Marans by accident, and I LOVE her! I had another sole hatchling (Peafowl), and didn't want the chick to be lonely. So, I looked on Craigslist for any day-old chicks in the area, and found Nightingale. She is 6 months old now, big, fluffy, awkward, loud, low on the pecking order, and lays gorgeous eggs. Best accidental chicken ever!

The Silkies I hatched are sweet and funny. I gave two extra whites away, and kept one of each colour I hatched. They are probably NOT suited to this muddy climate.

The Ayam Camani is stunning - they look like they are sculpted of black rock. Yeah, I kind of want one.

If I could have gotten hold of true Auraucana or Ameraucana eggs, I would have loved those. I finally settled for Easter Eggers today, because anything I bought called "Ameraucana" would probably just be an EE, anyway.

I don't know the Icelandic. Pics?

(I didn't just ask to look at more chickens...

yeye5 - A double yolker is an egg that has two yolks in it. Twins are very rare in the chicken world, so usually an egg that has two yolks in it doesn't develop. Although I definitely did see a video on YouTube of twin chicks hatching so it's not impossible, just unlikely!
