Hatched.....but feet look funny and it isn't walking very well

Hey.......I just had a chick hatch this afternoon(a late hatcher, was due to hatch on Friday/Saturday).....and it's feet are kinda turned in/funky looking......Any ideas????

When they've just hatched, most chicks have curved feet and walk unsteadily. Give him until tomorrow, and you should see improvement. If you don't, he may have curled toes, and this can be remedied by applying a tape "bootie" to straighten them. There are a lot of threads in the archives that deal with this; if you search for "curled toes," you should be able to find them.

Thank you SO much......I think it is curled toes......I'll let him remain in the hatcher until tomorrow and decide what to do then! I appreciate your quick reply
