Hatched chick HELP!!!!!EMERGENCY!!!!!

one of my eggs hatched and the chcick has a red glob or sac hanging off its rear end what is it?

It is part of the yolk sac. Just leave it be and do not disturb and hopefully the chick will absorb the sac on it's own.

now the sac has a string like vien thing wrapped around it and it the sac is bigger now

what should i do?

i think it is leaking because there is yellow goo coming out of it will it live???

it is still alive i dont know is it will make it i still have 2 pips so at least if i lose one i will gain 2

Its yolk sac that didn't absorped yet!
in commercial ones this is called 2grade chicken.
it maybe live! in this case, this will live long time!!!

I had that happen last week to one of mine. The chick pulled it around still attached for several hours and then it just fell off. The is chick is fine and running around with the other chicks.

hope ur chick absorbs it u can put iodine on it and it will help some could tie it off with string but if its doing ok dont mess with it except maybe the iodine good luck
