Hatched Chick with bloodsack

Hey everyone!

Hopefully someone is able to help. I have a chick that hatched around 12 hours ago and I noticed this Blob at its back when it initially hatched. Checking back this morning, It has become bigger/longer.

The chick is walking around and stuff dragging it behind itself that is starting to look quite nasty. before I did anything, even taking it out of the incubator, I wanted to check with someone more knowledgeable whether there maybe something that can be done or whether it would be best to take the chick out of its misery?

That kind of looks like part of it's intestine has fallen out. You should leave it in the incubator till it's totally dry by then you should know if it will live or die on it's own.

So the chick is still alive and in its brooder right now! it pooped yesterday but hasnt eaten anything since... any thoughts?

How does its navel area look today? Is it active?
