Hatched out my first babies

I hatched out my first eggs today. I started out with 10 chicken eggs but when floated only 5 wiggled and the other five floated. One went bad and I had to throw it out but two hatched out today. Will wait for the others until tuesday and then dispose of them. This is the first one and taken through the bator windows.

Wow, how cool! I blew a couple hundred bucks on a fully automated incubator and ordered eggs to hatch. None of them developed. So I bought chicks. I'm going to try to hatch them again next spring.

I have a barrowed little giant with turner and bought a still air little giant. I just put the babies in the still air on lock down because I was given a mixed batch of duck and chicken eggs. My duck eggs seem to be doing better than my chicken eggs did. But then I have kids with openthebatoritis. I am lucky to have the two.

My kids left everything alone. And I used an incubator that automatically rolled the eggs, and had the temp. And humidity set at the factory. I think I just got bad eggs or maybe they where roughed u

I just had one hatch out so that makes three. It wasn't even pipped when I checked an hour ago and now its a peeping little ball of glued fluff.
