Most of the ones I've helped hatch usually die or are very weak and need culled later. So what I'm saying is as shirley said "if they aren't well enough to hatch then they probally won't do well." What is your humidity, could it be too high and they drown once they pip. Duck and chicken eggs need different humidity levels, something to keep in mind for next time. Good luck with the rest.

an yea that never click in my head till a few hours ago

but i hope some of my ducks make it

oh my humidity is at 76% is that good?? since the only thing left to hatch is the duck eggs

Oh and soon as i notice my duck eggs were piping i took them off the turner..was that the right thing to do?? cuz member i didn't no when they were going to hatch i just had to keep my eye on them and i didn't want to take them off the turner to early

an now my humidity is at 80%

WOW - very cool! I just started my first hatch as well, so I hope I have something to talk about in a month (ducks).

Great job - I think 80% humidity is good - can go up to 85% I think without trouble.

Bird Boy, Did you ever go to bed last night? I'm so sorry 2 of your chicks died

At least you have 2; that's a 50% hatch rate. Way better than me right now. I only had 1 out of 4 geese eggs hatch, 2 out of 12 chicken eggs and I have 6 out of 12 duck eggs left in the incubator so we will see how many actually hatch they are due on the 28th.

The pictures are great! Wish I could get some of mine. Hang in there with your ducks. Can't wait to see pictures of them too!

an i only got an hour of sleep so far..lol.. when i woke up thats when the first chick hatched an the 2cnd one hatch 2 mins later

an yea i miss them already

but yup i did good for a first timer so far a 50% hatch rate!

an 4 more days for your duckies! i can't wait to here about it!
