the babies are doing fine. they sleep alot... i guess i would to after all that work they went through...lol


* oh an the duck eggs are still moving!..... i went to take a nap an before i did i check on them an the eggs were facing one way an when i just woke up there all facing another way! so babies are still trying!

I woke up at 4AM to see mine if anything had happened My duck was moving a lot near the air sac and I think he's going to break through today!

So no more turning after today and I'll up the humidity by spraying a lot and adding another water tray.

UPDATE!!! OMG!!

the first duck just hatch but the yolk sack is still hanging out of his stomack??????????

i didn't open the bator i'm afriad to...... the duckling is still breathing an peeping an moving like nothing is wrong but you can clearly see the yolk sack all wasn't eating or something....it's not the green clear sack stuff.. i see that..that broke off... this is the yellow yolk sack with the lil veins ...it's about the size of a dime but the duckling stomach didn't close all the way or something HELP!!!

I've heard a lot on these forums about the yolk not absorbing all the way. What I've read other ppl doing is wrapping it in a damp cloth to keep it from drying out and letting the yolk absorb. Search the forum for stuff on that, cause I know it's happened to a lot of ppl here!!!! I don't remember if they wrapped it and left in the bator or wrapped and put in the brooder??? Sorry I'm not much help!!! Good luck!!!

yolk hasn't been draw in in yet, just keep him in the incubator and keep it damp, He probably hatched a little too early. leave him for a couple of hours and see if they're any improvement.

What ever you do don't move him or pull the yolk off becuase he'll bleed to death.

oh ok cuz now it's only a tiny piece left ..he's still alive an peeping an another duck egg is about to hatch any second... the baby is almost out.. the duck has almost eatin the yolk

i take that back one baby duck just hatch!!!!
