    what exactly is a hatcher?

I just got a new incubator (Genesis) and I have an LG. A person at the feed store said to use the Genesis as the incubator & the LG as a hatcher?

    What does he mean?

To use the LG only for hatching so the other stays clean. Also so you can hatch more eggs. Ya dont have to wait to set more eggs.

ok i have 3 bators (1 hovabator and 2 homemade ones). two of the bators (the hova and 1 homemade) gets used to incubate eggs. i have staggared hatches so that eggs are hatching each week. when it is day 18, they get moved to the other homemade one (the hatcher). this way i only have one to clean up and can just add eggs to the other two.
