I am thinking tail feathers look pointy and some have curve. Also this one kept trying to escape out of a pretty tall boxView attachment 2344666

At the moment, tail feathers mean nothing. They start to get gender specific feathering at about 12 weeks. By then, you'll want to look for pointed feathers near the base of the tail. If the saddle feathers are pointed, it's a cockerel.
