Hello all I have a question and this will most likely be based on others experiance. I am looking to purchase a wide variety of chickens up to 25 total. My biggest thing I care about is the lifespan Im wondering if anyone has gotten birds from a hatchery that have lived longer than 6 years. My chickens are basically pets and company.
Thanks

you should check out sandhill preservation for a big variety of birds that are better than hatchery quality. we got our original cubalayas from them and still buy heirloom seed from them.

Thanks for the response! What about hatcheries that do sexing? I was really hoping to get all pullets.
