Hatchery chicks under a broody hen? Will it work?

Thanks for the advise every one. I currently dont have a broody hen but see it coming soon. I plan to let her site some eggs for at least 2 weeks so she is good and ready for a hatch. I plan to do it after dark. After she leaves the next box I plan to keep her in a smaller enclosure for a while until I know they are all bonded. I have to order a minium of 15 day olds. My concern was that often chicks cheep in the egg and mom clucks back. I consider that part of the bonding that gets the mom ready for hatch. Also day old chicks hatched in an incubator may not be imprinted. However it sounds like many people get this to work. I have also thougth the reason many hens dont go broody and want to sit or raise chicks is that they were never raised by a hen. I am hoping that my chicks grow up to be good mothers.
