Hatchery SLW-which one should I keep?

I don't know if the other one would get lighter or not, but if u need to make a choice now I'd keep the lighter one! Which hatchery did u get urs from? They're way nicer than my hatchery slw.

The darker one more than likely won't get much better lacing.

I'd keep the lighter. Nice looking, much better than my hatchery SLW - mine is a sweet bird but hardly looks like a SLW at all. Almost all black with barely any lacing. /sigh.

Hmmm... I've ordered 22 SLW from Meyer... Only three were light, and they were in the first batch, which is the one my Min Pin got (evil dog)... So I have a bunch of the dark ones and I gave 4 away, and am either going to process or sell the remaining 5 or so...

typically I order hatching eggs, but couldn't find any SLW's that were available when I was setting this hatch....I just couldn't wait so I ordered these one-day-olds...live and learn
