Hatchery that sells BLRW?

The reason SLW and GLW are offered by many hatcheries is because they can be feather sexed. The breeding stock I beleive comes from Ideal hatchery.

I ordered BLRW's from McMurray hatchery - straight run only I believe - & am VERY impressed. My roo is huge & gentle, & my hen is very correct.

I ordered BLRW last Spring from McMurry - I ended up with three hens and one roo. They are are pretty nice birds...and are oh, so, gentle. I love them. I wish I had ordered more! Just as the previous poster said, my roo is huge...and sweet! I ordered them for their beauty and eggs...but, of course they are now more like pets than layers. Love them!

Thanks, I may try some from them.
I got a SLW from a hatchery and she turned out to be much better than the ones I got from a breeder. Better color, size and laying ability. I'm not against breeders but I like to get the best birds I can and sometimes the hatcheries can surprise me.

Thank you both for your input.

Hey, cool!
I am coming through GA next Sat. and am picking up a pair at Exit 160 coming back up I-85.
Do you happen to have any hens or pullets for sale?

Hmmm.....MPC has GL and SL and Columbian Standards, and White bantams. They also have the BLR hatching eggs, but I think only in their Assorted Rare or Rarest of the Rare.
