Thanks! Hasn't hatched yet, but I think I felt it move in there. How can I tell when the duck needs help?Hope it hatches!
I don’t really know I’ve helped seven ducklings hatch, and still I’m not really sure. You could try making a safety hole though. But make sure you do it where the air pocket is or was. I usually use a small metal blade and carefully turn it around to make a whole small enough for a pin to get through. Don’t actually put a pin in though.Thanks! Ok I poked the membrane and now it'd leaking a bit of goo, not sure what that is.I tried making the hole, but I'm worried about accidentally pointing or hurting him, I felt him move while I was doing it, should I wait longer or try some more?
