Our hybrid girl has been doing a fantastic job of sitting on her hatching eggs for three weeks but this morning she abandoned them and they were stone cold so I brought them inside and put them under a heat lamp hoping it would help.

Well now one of the eggs is hatching and I can hear a chick chirping away inside the egg shall I take the eggs back out to my broody?? Or keep them inside my brooder??

Just use a thermometer to check the temp under the heat lamp. I should be around 99 degrees. Add Humidity any way you can (wet paper towels, vaporizer, or whatever). I would not give them back to the hen. Good luck!
