Hatching: Again, to help or not to help?

She is in a warm brooder now. I did use a wet paper towel to clean her a bit, and put her right back in. Will see if that helps, then I will clean her again before going to bed.
I did dry hatch so no water in the incubator until lockdown. Even during lockdown, my separate thermo-hygrometer read 65%, I thought that was low and why she got shrink-wrapped.

I do have water in my current batch though (day 2 now), and humidity is at 52% without this chick in it.
Usually the shrink wrapping comes from humidity being too low after they pip or spending too long externally pipped.
I usually dry incubate too guess it depends on where you live. Always so much tweaking to figure out what works best!
Post pics when she’s fluffed up 😊

She is still not fluffing up much even though I tried to clean her (quickly, I don’t want her to get cold). She seems fine and even peck on the tiny feed crumbles I put on the floor. So anxious to see if she can make it through the first night.
This is her now in the pic.

Updates:
She did make it through the first night. I feel such relief even though not 100% certain we are done and good yet.
She doesn't get fluffier but she is not weaker, which is great. She even pecked on me when I picked her up to clean her (basically I ran warm water on the faucet, and put water on her wings and sticky spots on her and tapped gently, then quickly put her on a warm towel with a hair-drier running nearby, all within 30 seconds). She is back in her brooder now with water and food.

The other egg didn't make it. I did an egg-topsy and she did have internal pip where I made the safe hole. But she also got her wing over her head. I think that was the reason why she could not made it out by herself. The head was also more on the smaller end of the egg (wrong position).

I named the surviving chick Aki (as in Akicita, meaning "warrior") :).
Doesn't matter if she turns out to be a rooster or hen, she will have the same name.

So, she is doing great today, fluffed up quite a bit even though still doesn't look fully fluffy.
She drinks a lot of water, and I don't see she eats yet, but she is only 1.5 days old, so I'm not worried about that. She is fighting hard to stay healthy and alive, I'm so proud of her.:love

Aki 2.5 days old. She is doing great! Runs around, eats and drinks constantly :D
I think she is safe from all the complications now.
