Hatching bantam eggs

Do I need to do any thing different when I hatching bantam eggs,, than you do for regular eggs.

Basically no, nothing different, but one possible issue. Are you using an automatic turner? Will the bantam eggs fit so they are turned properly?

Make sure you monitor the air cells closely. I trace them on day 7,14, and 18. My bantam eggs like a higher humidity (around 40-50%). You can start on the lower side but just watch them to see if you need to increase it.

I am using a automatic turner. Thanks for that thought. I didn't think of that. If they don't fit should I try to put something in the holder?

What incubator are you using? I prefer to hand turn but when I was using a turner I used tissues to keep the eggs in place. They kept falling over and leaning on their sides. Some people use foam too.
