Hatching broken eggs

It may be possible to hatch a clean, broken egg without its egg shell. See the following video:

It shows an egg that is incubated without its shell. It reportedly resulted in a chick!

If anyone tries this, please post the results on this thread.

My mother broke the shell of an egg while candling around day 13 and was SO sad when she saw it had a perfect little chick growing inside. The membrane hadn't been hurt so she put it alone inside another bator without any turner or hand turning and one week later a lively little barnyard mix hatched!

But, I suspect that there is probably a low hatch rate unless you can keep a sterile environment in the incubator, might need something like a UV sterilizer in there to keep the air clean... That incubator looks like a lab quality culture one (clued in by the pressurized gas tanks on side that can be used to create a artificial and sterile atmosphere inside if needed) and many of those also have UV sterilizers inside so the recirculated air is sterile...
