Hatching Button Quail

I kept Screetch in ICU all night. I fed water and tried to help straighten his little neck gently, He (maybe) stood with his toes turned under and neck kinked sideways and kept falling over and couldn't roll. I figured a neuro defect. This morning, Screetch can stand and walk. He joined the others and they don't pick on him. He can drink and eat; his neck goes sideways a little still and he falls over some, but can get up. So he is better. A miracle.

Pics of Screetch from last night to this morning- miraculous. Now if I can just get his feet straight.

I had one like that, wry neck because it was stuck in the egg too long. Sadly mine passed. I'm glad your chick is doing better.

For your little one's feet I would try to make it little shoes to hold the toes straight. There's quite a few posts on BYC about that.

Thanks, I will do that. I thought about putting painters tape on the bottom of his feet, but then worried that even that would never come off.
