Can anyone give me an idea of how long to incubate Call Ducks for? I’m asking since the bantam chicks hatch earlier do they?

Should be 28 days. I've had them be a tad early or a tad late too though. Can anyone give me an idea of how long to incubate Call Ducks for? I’m asking since the bantam chicks hatch earlier do they?
Yes that’s what I have been seeing. I guess you don’t learn until you try. I still have a little ways to go. Do you know how long I should wait till I should assist?I just went 30 days, but be prepared for full on assisted hatching.

Oh my..Calls usually hatch on day 26, but sometimes go the full 28.
Since Calls often need help, I take the tack of letting them internally pip, waiting 24 hours to see if they can externally pip on their own, and if they haven't, I add a safety hole. Then, if no further progress in 24 hours, I'll begin assisting further.
Hi,Whether you have to assist greatly depends on the stock your birds are coming from, Higher quality birds have a shorter bill and smaller body, therefore, cannot pip as easily as pet quality birds that somewhat resemble a mallard. Do you know where your eggs came from?
