Hi, I'm need advice ASAP. I trying to hatch some chicks for the first time. One of the eggs pipped last night, but the progress has been very slow. I'm concerned they are having trouble. What should I do? It's still moving around, wobbling.

It looks like you've got 2 pipped! What kind of chickens are they? @GodLovesU gave good advice and posted a good article for assisting hatchlings. Just take it slow if you do have to help.

Keep us posted! It's always fun/stressful hatching chicks! Best wishes for them!

Thanks! It has just turned 24 hours. I will allow her some more time then? I'd hate to intervene and do more damage than good. I can hear the chirping and slits still moving around.
Sounds like it is zipping now..If so within a few hours it should be out. Don't open the incubator if you don't absolutely have to or the chicks may shrink wrap.

Hi! Thank you! It's exciting, but very stressful lol. Who would have thought. Yes, the second started this afternoon. The first started last night around this time. I can hear the chirping and it's still moving around, so, I'll give it some more time.
