A watched bator never does hatch!!! I slept in and awoke to peeping in my bator with my first chick ever a few days ago so yes this is very true!

Yeah, Bill......I was down there at the pole barn this evening where the pens are, and was wondering where to move cultivators, a disk, and bushhog so I can add another big grow-out pen. I can't quit hatchin' these dedgum birds. But I'm mighty afraid the growing feed bill will have a very big impact on the shut-down date for hatching on this hill!
(And, of course the outcome of the battle-of-the-egos on Washington Hill may eventually play a role in this too as early as next Tuesday!!!!!)
