Today is hatching day for my serama eggs. So far they are all light colored.

I see you have jars of water in there. Can you tell me why (still learning here!)?

Another question, if you don't mind.... Do you like the hatch in the egg cartons better than on the wire/shelf liner?

The egg carton works okay, unless you have some piping out the small end, then you can put those on their side.

This is a homemade styrofoam cooler "incubator" that I use for a hatcher. I have staggered batches of eggs in my other incubators, so I hatch them out in this one to keep my incubators clean.
