First two Chicks from Pearl...went out of the Coop today...First time.

The light one reminds me of a quail. very pretty chicks.

D.W. as a young Drake..Bouncers Dad.

I can def see Bouncer came from DW.

I knew he was not from my Call Drake.....Not possible at that time....Lucky was only Breeding my other Drake at that time......Lucky Started Breeding Hens , although it is only my Call Hen Lily that he likes......The Poopers are all from D.W. Because still at that point Lucky was not breeding Hens..... Silly Ducks......

I have a quick question for all the experienced Duck people......I never thought to ask?

Grit.......I know their is Granite grit and then Silica grit......I was told due to my soil content and being sandy soil, I should use the Silica grit....I have it.....I was told it will prevent leg stiffness in poultry....I always buy the Silica Salt blocks for my Horses too.....Something that makes me go Hmmmm?.........what do you know about this and leg stiffness?

Wish I could answer your other question but I have never seen silica grit only granite grit around here.

Listen I just about do back ground checks on people here wanting ducks/chicks if I have them. I figure after I get through interrogating them if they are still on the phone they must be serious.
