Hatching Duck eggs....I messed up...UPDATE.....#1

Bouncer won't be coming back in. Him and the Poopers are doing great. I hung his mirror up and he is a happy guy!

Looks like he needs his mirror adjusted lol or he's grown a few more inches since you hung it.
Look how tiny those littles are will they cuddle with Bouncer?

The mirror is hung that height for when he lays down to cuddle himself....;)

I had to take the Ducklings out of Bouncers Brooder...They are too small for him still...Bouncer is no longer scared of them....He noodles them and bites their feet...He would not share the feed or water either....Bouncer was a brat......

The good thing is, he loves it out in the brooder and never cries........I will try again next week when the Ducklings are bigger.....:)

He will be 6 weeks old on Monday......Wow......I will let the Ducklings catch up and put wire to separate instead of the wood so they can see each other .....

Great idea about fixing the brooder so they can all see each other. He was just doing what any big brother would do pick on his siblings. lol

My bro picked on me too. I think it is just in the genes. lol So Bouncer is very normal.

That will be a good solution by the time the littles get large enough to be with Bouncer full time they will know each other well.

So, @chickens really, when I first looked at that photo, all I saw was Bouncer! I decided he looked really cute, but then noticed a strange blemish on the wall... I enlarged it, and the blemish was the ducklings!! They are just so small compared to Bouncer - and just the right color to blend in like that. But wow Bouncer is so big now he looks pretty much like a grown up!

Yes, Bouncer is getting huge.....He is a Male for sure .......:)....He looks like his Dad, although Bouncer has the white eye stripes more predominant .....I will post a pick of his Dad at that age....If I can find it?

:)
