I wish you could take this little Runner.....
It's a very sad little Duckling....It lacks confidence and is lonely...My friend is coming next week and will continue to love on it as I have been...It eats but not like I wish it would...I have been giving it duckling starter and a bit of dry cat food soaked into its feed..It has wonky legs and I think niacin deficiency was starting being they were only fed Chick starter...I have fallen in love with the Silly Bird...She follows me when I put her out..I dont bother putting her with my Ducks....
The people should of called Wildlife when they found the Teal instead of taking on this Little Runner and not consider it needs...Its sad....The Teal is doing great but this Baby is paying the price....

It's in good hands now CR Hopefully your TLC then your friends will get her up to par, just hope it's lil self hasn't gone too long with out proper nourishment. I am glad you have someone who wants to take it and love it.

Thanks....I just feel terrible for the little Duck...She really is sweet but lacks confidence and any Duck training...She does not know how to forage...
I'm just glad they called me....Ducky will be loved....

Being around other ducks should bring her out of her shell, she'll learn from them.

She is so skinny and scared my Ducks kick her butt as soon as I put her out........
Should I wean Penelope's Ducklings?...They are 4 weeks old and could be her company?....

Try a few and see what happens they may kick her butt too. I actually mean putting her where she can see other ducks lol not in with them.

She can see them....I have my pens set up so all Ducks interact...

Yes....She falls down when running it's not the same as introducing regular Ducklings....I will just wait....I feel sorry for her....
