He is so used to his life as it is, he never cries....He peeps and plays by himself in his brooder.....We play with him and he gets so silly.......

That reminds me! Are you keeping all of his "siblings", or are you just keeping a couple and selling the others?

I Sold 4 that are not even hatched.....The lady is so excited to get them.....I hope the hatch goes great.....The rest will be sold......

Oh my goodness look at that face and body, what a lil hunk!

My first encounter with geese was when my brother and I walked my 2 very young children down to a marina not far from where I lived in Fla. We took bread to feed the geese and ducks [didn't know you shouldn't do that] Well we finished giving out all the bread but they wanted more surrounded us to where we had to stand up on a park bench to get away from them, well My brother had life savers and says you take the kids and run I'll distract them with these life savers.We finally got away but I never would have thought after that experience I'd want geese. But many years later I did and do.  I always felt bad though that those poor ducks and geese probably ate life savers.  Yes geese will chase us if we run one thing you learn real fast when you have geese is you never act like your afraid of them. They have to learn to respect us as their leader.  I am only 5'2" and my gander is a big boy. 

Poor thing got attacked by a mad mama duck and your mama was mad because the dog Toby was dirty and couldn't tell why. .

I don't believe I ever heard that story! Funny how kid things impact our adult lives. I'm so glad you still wanted ducks/geese/chickens!

Anyone one want to skate?
My oldest Son is a skateboarder and was in many Canadian magagazines for skateboarding!

Amazes me how fast they grow. He's a doll.

I will keep 2 or 3 for Bouncer to have friends.....He needs young Ducks....
I Sold 4 that are not even hatched.....The lady is so excited to get them.....I hope the hatch goes great.....The rest will be sold......

I sold 4 Serama chicks today. This couple also bought 2 dozen Serama eggs from me last weekend, incubating them.

They had been to Rural King, and older chicks (probably a week or so) marked down to 25 cents each and ducklings $2!! She bought 4 ducklings, I had to see them. I swear, there isn't much cuter on this planet than a baby duckling!

Now I just might have to hatch some more duck eggs lol!

I know......Ducklings are so cute ......Alice's chicks are due the end of next week.....My friend is buying all the Chicks.......The other two are getting feathers and doing great.....I love hatching eggs!!.......I must also say I can only hatch with my two helpers.... Of course I love hatching eggs......lol......
