Hatching Duck eggs....I messed up...UPDATE.....#1

Maybe Bouncer can help pick his flock. Much easier than you having to decide.

Now that all this is fresh in your mind, I have a question. What humidity did you have them at until lockdown? Did you run dry?

@chickens really I am so excited for you and congratulations on such a great hatch.

I can't wait hardly to see the new additions to Bouncers family.

From day one I had it set at 50%, I would Candle every couple of days to keep an eye on the air cells....They were a bit small so I dropped it Down to 40% on Day 17 till the air cells got bigger and then upped it back up to 50 till lock down....lock down I had it set at 63% humidity.....

Are you going to hatch Ducks too?

Thanks Miss Lydia!

I can hardly wait to show off all these little cuties!
I love them all...Not as much as I love Bouncer though....Poor Bouncer I really hope he is happy once these babies are big enough to handle his silliness ......I think it was great taking him out to be with the big Ducks....They all shared a puddle the other day and Bouncer was wanting to follow them around......

Thanks so much :)

I bet he enjoyed being with the big ducks. Do they want to pick on him or have they pretty much accepted he is one of the crowd now?

No, not this year. I sorta went incubator crazy last year and had trouble rehoming a lot of them. But like to keep records of how others do when they have a good hatch. And yours was the best.
Even with help and advice you did the work. Congrats

Linda

My Drake D.W. his Dad was the only one who noodled his back....I am a bit scared so if they get too close or look aggressive I QUACK and they back off....lol....Sounds silly but it works...I am part of the flock so they seam to just accept him......
