Hatching Duck eggs....I messed up...UPDATE.....#1

Bouncer has found a new home not far from here...The people had bought Ducklings from me out of Samantha's hatch mates....Bouncer will live on a large pond with his siblings....They are protected by two Lammas that protect the goats....They are coming back Friday to buy two Call Ducklings from me also....
I hope Bouncer is happy and settles into his new home with less aggression....I think the one little Appleyard Duckling I have is a Drake and will be keeping it along with the other that hatched....Not imprinted on me...I will never imprint Ducklings again....:th

Thanks everyone....

Because Bouncer grew to have zero fear of anything and became way too pushy and aggressive....He is a Huge Drake with hormones and attacked anything that moved....He even attacked my Rooster....Lucky my Call Drake never shows signs of aggression...He just really loves the ladies....He never tries to attack the Mini Appleyard Drake or shows any interest in him at all.....I totally spoiled Bouncer and will love him for ever.....

I spoke to someone who explained where I went wrong with Bouncer...At his critical stage in development he was still alone and looked to us as his flock...He matured as all Drakes do and only liked Samantha best and we were all below him...:th.
He has been taken down a peg or two at his new home and does not attack yet...He got put in his place by the Goose...:lau....Bouncer loves swimming on the pond and pretty much does his own thing.....
I hope he is happy?....We miss him lots...This was for the best.....

Dandelion will be staying....It has not grown and is bonded to the one Big Appleyard Duckling and it's stuffed pony....It also only eats if all the food is placed in a certain sequence..wet feed, water dish and dry on the end...I had it mixed up and Dandy was trying to eat the dry food with zero success...I moved them all to the large garage brooder yesterday...Dandy slept on its stuffed pony and the others all cuddled away from it...
I would hate to let it go to someone and then it dies....I better continue to care for it...It has not grown much yet if at all?

I started to incubate 3 mini Appleyard eggs...Not sure if they are fertile?....Will know in 8 days.....
