Hatching Duck eggs....I messed up...UPDATE.....#1

Crappy...These Ducklings are too big for Thistle and Thistle is terrified of the other Ducklings...I dont know who was more scared?....Thistle or Clover?. .....Trying to see if someone from my last hatch will want to buy Thistle?.....

Just talked to the young guy I got my Mini Appleyards from...Not only did they get beat up and feathers pulled out...He used a Dog Clipper on wings and bodies...No wonder they look like they went through a blender?.....

Power outage here yesterday evening from 6:15 till 7:45 this morning....Needless to say I think my eggs in my incubators are done for....Happy note I put the Mini Appleyard eggs under Lily....

Thistle was a bit cool but did fine without the heat lamp...Sure was happy once the power was on and it warmed up....

He did and they look terrible...He use the clippers...Poor Ducks....Feathers are growing back....The hen looks worse...I hope by fall they are feathered?....
