Hatching Duck eggs....I messed up...UPDATE.....#1

Contacted me with more disturbing news....We are pretty much at the mercy to all predators...Need a permit to live trap which only has limited use...Cant snare without trapping license and can not shoot in our area...I guess we will do it all in secrete with no help?....I got told to build a better Fence....Lol.....

This Fox I discovered yesterday is not just one Fox....Its two possibly three?
They were luring my dogs to the opposite side of my property while the other came to my pens...They did it 4 times yesterday...My Dogs sure got their exercise yesterday....I'm sure my Chickens have lost their voices after all that clucking?....
Very stressful.....

I'm taking in another rescue Duck....A young Runner Duckling only 3 weeks old........People have no idea what sex it was hatched In July....I'm a sucker for a sad story....Poor Ducky....I LOVE Ducks......

I rescued the Runner....Very skinny...lol...I'm not a lover of Runners but its a Duck..Ill help it...
The wild Duck was a Teal and rehab already picked it up...
Ill post a picture ASAP...

Aww I love my Runners what will you do with it once you get it healthy? Poor baby

Not a great photo but these are the rescued Ducks...Rehab picked up the Teal this evening..Poor Runner is crying! It's a Hen..It Quacks..
Not sure what to do with her but she will be loved lots while here..Very skinny poor thing..

Hopefully she'll settle down and get healthy with some good ole TLC. She looks young still has some baby fuzz. I'd take her in a min. Of course they are thin anyway so hopefully she hasn't been too neglected.

Your probably right...It might just look skinny to me being its a Runner...Yes its a Duckling..Was hatched July 14th..So 5 weeks old...Its cute...My Friend says she wants the Runner...I dont care if it has to stay?....Its a funny Duckling...Its not super scared of people so its easy to catch..Now I need to name the Baby....
