Hello All,
I have recently purchased a Farm Innovators 4200 Pro Series incubator that was well-recommended at my local feed store. I have read up on them and know that I need a back-up thermometer and perhaps hygrometer just to double check against what comes installed. that's not a problem.
I bought the unit with the egg turner and there seems to be some question as to whether or not I can use that to hatch duck eggs. The included instructions flat out say no, but my eggs are realistically about the size of extra large or jumbo chicken eggs, and the feed store manager (who hatches a lot on his own and knows his stuff) had looked at the rail prior to purchase and thought it would work. I can't seem to find any separate rails for duck size for sale.
So my question is whether anyone has used the egg turner included (chicken size) to hatch duck eggs. I hate to spend the money on a turner and then have to take it out and turn them by hand!!
Thanks a lot for any input!
